Coast Kids

Kindergarten to 5th Grade

Coast Kids is our ministry to K-5th grade. Each of our 4 classrooms has their own awesome singing time, as well as exciting Bible teaching, and then a small group time with an emphasis on making the Biblical truths connect with their young lives. And of course, kids have tons of fun hanging out with friends and caring leaders. Bring your Bibles, your friends and join us!

Coast Kids Frequently Asked Questions

Check out our frequently asked questions to find out more about Coast Kids.  Any additional questions can be emailed to Gina Sur at [email protected].

What can my child expect during the service?

Coast Kids starts with 15 minutes in praise and worship, followed by a 25-30 minute fun teaching time, and ends with 20 minutes in small groups to pray, recite memory verses and learn to use the Bible.

What are the check-in and check-out procedures?

Arrive at our Coast Kids registration table in front of the classroom. Fill out a registration card for each child, with pertinent information including any medical concerns or special needs. On the fourth visit to our program, your child will receive a permanent name tag. At service end, we ask that an adult picks up the child inside their class, checking out with the child’s teacher. Please keep our team informed of any needs your child may have– we consider it a privilege to serve your family!

My child isn't having a good experience in the larger service. What are my options?

We encourage you to try a smaller service with small classes. Our Sunday services at 12:45pm and 6pm are both great options.

Who are the volunteers working with my child?

All volunteers are given background checks and scanned through a national security database, as well as given excellent training prior to working with the children. We are thankful that so many quality volunteers have stepped forward to help teach kids about the Bible and to encourage them in their walk with the Lord.

What is your bathroom policy?

We encourage parents to take their children to the restroom before the service begins. However, if the need arises, we have a restroom in our K/1 and 2nd/3rd grade classrooms. Our 4th and 5th grade students are escorted to and from nearby restroom facilities by a classroom volunteer.

What is your sick child policy?

For the safety and respect of the children in our classroom, if your child has a runny nose, cough, or fever, please do not bring them to Coast Kids.
