Childcare Staff at Vista Campus
The Childcare Ministry offers childcare for parents attending mid-week Bible studies or classes. We have regular events on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and on Thursday nights, as well as other occasional events.
If you’ve got some extra time in your schedule and would like to work regularly or on a fill-in basis, fill out the application. Be sure to indicate the position you are interested in is Vista Childcare.
Hours: 5-10 hours/week

Childcare Staff at San Marcos/Escondido Campus
The San Marcos/Escondido paid Childcare Team is hiring. We have regular hours available on Thursday mornings, as well as other evening events. The Childcare team makes it possible for parents to attend The Well (our women’s Bible study) and other church classes and events.
If you’ve got some extra time in your schedule and would like to pick up some paid childcare shifts fill out the application. Be sure to indicate position you are interested in is San Marcos/Escondido Childcare.

The Carlsbad Childcare Team is hiring. This position would work Wednesday mornings, as well as other evening events throughout the year. The Childcare team makes it possible for parents to attend women’s ministries and other church classes and events.

Coast Kids K/1 Director (Vista Campus)
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
- To help K/1 children grow into followers of Jesus by developing their understanding of God, the Bible, and prayer.
- To provide directional leadership and build a focused, united, strong team of paid & unpaid staff.
- To provide a fun and safe environment where K/1 students can learn Biblical truths.
- To provide an environment where parents feel positive about bringing their children.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
- Plan weekend lessons that teach and explain the Bible to K/1 students.
- Train paid and unpaid staff in the discussion of the Bible lesson and running of weekend services.
- Regularly pray for and care for the spiritual & emotional needs of K/1 paid & unpaid staff, students & their families.
- Weekend Services
- Run K/1 services, giving direction to paid & unpaid staff and serving in any capacity as needed, such as coordinator, teacher, greeter, tech leader, or small group leader.
- Be in the K/1 classroom at least three Sunday mornings per month, coordinating with the Coast Kids Pastor for coverage on the fourth Sunday of the month.

- Volunteers (Unpaid staff)
- Be actively involved in the ongoing recruiting, training, and retention of K/1 volunteers.
- Plan, organize, and deliver training on a regular basis.
- Match volunteer strengths/giftedness with ministry/classroom needs.
- Activities and Events
- Assist in planning and hosting of family activities throughout the year, such as Trunk-or-Treat, Easter & Christmas Gatherings, Coast Kids Leader Conference, Children’s Ministry Volunteer Appreciation Night.
- K/1 Room
- Maintain/upkeep décor, organization, features, games.
- Report classroom maintenance needs to Facilities team.
- Monitor condition of electronic equipment, reporting tech needs to Tech team.
- Always be thinking of ways to improve the K/1 program and how to implement improvement ideas.

Carlsbad Campus Connections Director
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
- Oversee all aspects of guest assimilation and assimilation processes
- Oversee all aspects of communication at the campus level
- Act as the local campus liaison for Global Connections and Global Communications
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
- Management, oversight, and execution of all campus communications.
- Provide oversight and approval of all Campus calendar events and facility usage.
- Oversees the Connection Card process to ensure appropriate member care support.
- Oversee Connections staff and ensures all processes are effective and efficient.
- Establish welcoming Connection events to move guests from ‘visiting’ to ‘connected.’
- Meet and collaborate with campus leadership to execute and maintain the church mission.
- Collaborates with global ministries to improve and implement internal church processes.
- Develop, train, and equip support staff in the execution of local and global processes.

NineTen High School Pastor (Vista Campus)
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To lead a successful 9th and 10th grade high school ministry of over 150 students that builds a healthy staff and volunteer adult team that creates an environment that furthers their student’s relationship with God as they become adults who love the Lord
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Grow A Healthy Weekend and Mid-Week Ministry
- Create a fun environment that reaches 9th/10th graders who become adults who know, understand and live out the Gospel
- Teach and develop a teaching team
Train and Develop a Thriving Leadership Team
- An amazing paid staff and intern team or people who love students and are working toward full-time ministry
- A volunteer team that is trained to lead small groups effectively and hopefully stay in your ministry for years

Pauma Valley Campus Youth Pastor
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To Disciple and lead students into a purposeful and intimate relationship with Jesus. Reports to the Pauma Valley Campus Pastor.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
- Facilitate weekly fun and engaging programs for youth on Sunday and mid-week.
- Attend Youth Pastors meeting at the Vista campus, twice a month to share ideas, get training and hear from our Senior pastor Chris Brown.
- Attend weekly staff meetings at Pauma Valley Campus.
- Attend monthly All Staff Gatherings at the Vista Campus.
- Participate in local Pauma Valley campus events.
- Oversee Student Ministry Budget
- Recruit, develop and care for youth volunteer team.
- Plan, coordinate and lead Summer and Winter Camps

Preschool Teacher (North Coast Preschool)
A Preschool Teacher is responsible for providing a safe and developmentally appropriate program for young children in a warm, nurturing, and enriching environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To provide responsive, relationship-based care for the individual child.
- To plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs to meet the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual needs of the children in their care.
- To create an inviting environment for play and exploration.
- To build and nurture partnerships with parents via written and verbal communication, conferences, and family involvement within the classroom.
Pay Range
- $18-$21 per hour
