Childcare Staff at Vista Campus

The Childcare Ministry offers childcare for parents attending mid-week Bible studies or classes. We have regular events on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and on Thursday nights, as well as other occasional events.

If you’ve got some extra time in your schedule and would like to work regularly or on a fill-in basis, fill out the application.  Be sure to indicate the position you are interested in is Vista Childcare.

Hours: 5-10 hours/week
Qualifications:

  • Love God and Children
  • Have an understanding of the Bible
  • Customer service – friendly, compassionate, welcoming, good communication skills

The San Marcos/Escondido paid Childcare Team is hiring. We have regular hours available on Thursday mornings, as well as other evening events. The Childcare team makes it possible for parents to attend The Well (our women’s Bible study) and other church classes and events.

If you’ve got some extra time in your schedule and would like to pick up some paid childcare shifts fill out the application. Be sure to indicate position you are interested in is San Marcos/Escondido Childcare.

The Carlsbad Childcare Team is hiring. This position would work Wednesday mornings, as well as other evening events throughout the year. The Childcare team makes it possible for parents to attend women’s ministries and other church classes and events.

Hours: Flexible, 3-10 hours/week

Facilities Manager (Carlsbad Campus)

Responsible for maintenance, repair, and physical appearance of the church environment, while coordinating with outside contractors and vendors. Provides support to all church services, events, and ministry staff with set up and take down of services and events.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform weekly and routine campus cleaning
  • Setup/teardown weekly ministry needs
  • Perform or contract maintenance/repair actions
  • Schedule/perform preventative maintenance
  • Present at assigned campus a minimum of two days per week.
  • Maintain all facility operations (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical)
  • Address any urgent issues and emergencies
  • Serve as the parking safety coordinator

Preschool Teacher (North Coast Preschool)

A Preschool Teacher is responsible for providing a safe and developmentally appropriate program for young children in a warm, nurturing, and enriching environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • To provide responsive, relationship-based care for the individual child.
  • To plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs to meet the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual needs of the children in their care.
  • To create an inviting environment for play and exploration.
  • To build and nurture partnerships with parents via written and verbal communication, conferences, and family involvement within the classroom.

Purchasing Coordinator (Carlsbad Campus)

Provide hospitality support to teams at weekend services and special events. The Purchasing Coordinator oversees and coordinates the purchasing operations for all church functions related to events and services and will maintain a clean, organized kitchen and workroom, monitor and maintain proper inventory stock, shop for supplies, track shipments, receive delivery of shipments, and update team members as needed. ​​​​​​​

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the main point of contact for ordering supplies as it pertains to office, special events, weekend services, and key ministries at North Coast Church Carlsbad
  • Provides administrative support to the Connections team and campus pastoral staff
  • Review invoices and receipts and code with proper account numbers
  • Maintain inventory control and a clean, orderly kitchen with proper storage of supplies and equipment
  • Assist and support ministry leads with event execution during weekend services and/or special events
  • Ensure setup and logistics are correct with respect to ministry needs during services and events

Repair and Preventative Maintenance Coordinator

Perform preventative maintenance procedures to maximize the life span and reliability of facility equipment and vehicles to achieve a state of constant readiness and safety.
When appropriate, execute facility and equipment repairs in-house to help minimize out-sourcing costs and to provide a timelier turnaround.
Manage Facility Help Desk repair requests.  Oversee and train facility techs in basic repair skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance procedures to facility equipment including refrigeration, water filter systems, kitchen equipment, and ADA lift equipment.
  • Perform scheduled inspections and service to building components including doors and hardware, roofing, electrical, plumbing, pumps, water supply and waste systems.
  • Perform inspections, preventative maintenance work and schedule repair work to church vehicles: Gas and electric golf carts, trucks, and trailers.
  • Perform inspections, preventative maintenance work and schedule repair work to scissor lift, floor scrubber, power washer, and other small engine equipment.
  • Maintain and manage accurate documentation of history of scheduled maintenance work and equipment problems.

Website Support Specialist

The purpose of the Website Support Specialist is to support the Webmaster, Web Team and Communications Team with regards to website updates, HTML designed email creation, digital communication and social media.  This position provides a critical support role that ensures ministries can happen effectively, helping ministries communicate through North Coast Church’s multiple digital platforms.

Typical duties include:

  • Support webmaster in maintaining North Coast Church websites.
  • Work with ministries to create event registrations through the church Database and provide technical support
  • Working with graphics department to coordinate digital graphics needs
  • Create and manage congregational emails, HTML email campaigns and campus specific emails

Need to have Experience in:

  • MySQL / SQL / PHP / JavaScript
  • WordPress (content management, updating, configuring, installing)
  • Familiar with using FTP (File Transfer Protocol services)
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • HTML and CSS (including familiarity with best practice email design)
  • Familiar with best practices for web graphics and design
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Premier Pro)
  • Social Media Account administration
