Serving infants through 5th grade

Kids are so much fun and we think that going to church should be too! We believe every child should leave with a smile because they were loved, cared for and they had a blast. We select the best staff and volunteers to teach and care for your kids in a healthy and safe environment! Each week they dive into a new Bible lesson, engage in lively worship and discover practical ways to grow in a relationship with Jesus. They will be begging to come back again.

Coast Kids (Infant to 3rd Grade)

Coast Kids is our ministry devoted to children from infant to 3rd grade and is divided into the following age groups: Nursery (infants – 1 yr olds), 2 – 5 year olds (Pre-K) , Kindergarten/1st grade and  2nd/3rd grade.

All Coast Kids classrooms follow a similar structure. Teaching activities in the classrooms include a weekly Bible lesson, story time, memory verse, crafts, music and snack time. It is our sincere prayer and heartfelt desire to help your children grow in their love for Jesus.

Care is lovingly provided in our nursery, for infants through 1 yr olds. Special attention is given to cleanliness, as trained shepherds care for children in a warm and nurturing environment. Our adult to child ratio is 1 adult for every 2 infants. Nursing moms and new parents are invited into the Nursery to watch the weekly sermon with their little one.

Toddlers enjoy free play, participate in worship and a Bible story with crafts and games to reinforce the story. When children turn three and are potty trained, they transition to the 3-year-old classroom.

Our 3-year-old classroom is designed to be a fun and nurturing environment where your children can discover who God is and how much he loves them. This class is open to all children who are 3 years old and potty trained.

The 4 and 5-year-old classrooms are for those who have not started Kindergarten. Children discover who God is and how much he loves them through worship, Bible stories, games and activities. Children who turn 5 stay in the 4 year old class until June. They will all promote to Kindergarten together at the end of the current school year.

All of the above classes use the Orange First Look curriculum.

Our Kindergarten/1st grade students check in and pick up their name tags, then join the 2nd/3rd grade class for worship.  When they return to their room, students experience a lively Bible lesson followed by small group time that includes sharing, prayer, scripture memorization and activities that help the children apply the lesson to their lives.

We look at a virtue from the Bible each month and focus on what it means, what it tells us about God and how kids can apply it to their own lives. We use Orange First Look curriculum in this class.

This class is for children who are currently attending Kindergarten. In June of each year, all children from the 4 year old class who will be attending school in the fall move to Kindergarten together.

Our 2nd/3rd grade students check in and pick up their name tags, then begin with worship designed specifically for this age group. In each Coast Kids classroom, students experience a lively Bible lesson followed by small group time that includes sharing, prayer, scripture memorization and activities that help the children apply the lesson to their lives.

We look at a virtue from the Bible each month and focus on what it means, what it tells us about God and how they can apply it to their own lives. We use Orange 252 curriculum in this class.

Alive 45 (4th to 5th Grade)

Alive 45 is specifically for 4th and 5th graders. It is a place where kids are learning about the incredible ways that God has loved them. We do fun events throughout the year including summer camp.  Our curriculum is based on Orange 252 PreTeen.
