Care Ministry

These ministries focus on caring for those who attend North Coast Church.

Immediate Care

We have teams that can respond to the needs of our church.  They include the following:

  • Meals Team: Provides meals to families following surgery, new baby, death or hospitalization.
  • Encouragement Team:  Provides encouraging cards and/or calls in response to prayers from the worship response cards.
  • Elder Fund: Provides emergency assistance to members or nonmembers/regular attendees of North Coast Church who are experiencing an extreme financial need or crisis or in need of assistance for professional care.

Prayer Ministry

Prayer is an important part of our ministry. Our Prayer Connection teams minister and pray with people after each of our weekend services. There are also several opportunities to be part of the different prayer groups at North Coast. Our prayer teams pray over each prayer request that comes our way, either by email or on a Communication Card from the weekend service.

To find out more about serving opportunities involving prayer or if you need prayer and anointing with oil by our North Coast Church elders, contact Karen Keith at or (760) 724-6700 x239.

Our Memorial and Bereavement Ministry is available to you anytime you have experienced the loss of a loved one. We are here to provide as much care for you and your family as you need.

Counseling & Support Groups

The Counseling Center located on the Vista Campus is an extension of the North Coast Church pastoral staff. It’s purpose is to bring healing, clarity and resources to hurting people who want to grow through a variety of methods, with a major focus on Christian counseling.  Services are provided to North Coast Church attendees and the community-at-large.

Life Skills and Support Ministries offers a variety of support and educational groups. Here we learn how to incorporate God into our daily struggles we are facing. Whether it is in seeking a job, losing weight, or managing symptoms of mental illness, we all need a safe place to talk, learn, and listen. You are not alone, we all need others to conquer strongholds in our lives. We provide Christian leadership and support and will join you in your path of becoming who God has created and destined you to be.

Weddings & Baptisms

We would love to help make your special day memorable! Our facilities are available for weddings, but to have a North Coast Church pastor perform your ceremony, you must attend the Preparing for Marriage course first.

For more information on booking a wedding at North Coast and/or requesting a North Coast pastor to perform your ceremony, please fill out this form.

Our six week premarital course covers topics such as God’s design for marriage, communication and conflict resolution, appreciating your differences, financial freedom, and sex and intimacy in marriage. The course is required for a marriage to be performed by a North Coast pastor.

If you are currently dating, thinking of getting engaged, or planning a wedding, and would like to attend, email

Baptism is an important step in your journey as a follower of Christ; it’s an outward symbol of the work God has already done in your life. Baptism Nights at North Coast take place at each of our campuses throughout the year. If you are interested in being baptized, or just have some questions for us, fill out our online baptism form.

Child Dedications

If you are interested in dedicating your child to the Lord during one of our worship services, this information will let you know what’s involved and how it works.
