VOLUNTEER APPLICATIONS

If you know the ministry you would like to serve in, get started by filling out the appropriate volunteer application below.  Note that applications will take 5-15 minutes depending on your responses and is easiest to complete on a tablet or computer.

Below are employment opportunities at North Coast Church.  If you feel you are a good fit, fill out the employment application (you can also upload your resume as part of the application process).  For more information about the postings, email norma@northcoastchurch.com.

Childcare Staff at Vista Campus

The Childcare Ministry offers childcare for parents attending mid-week Bible studies or classes. We have regular events on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and on Thursday nights, as well as other occasional events.

If you’ve got some extra time in your schedule and would like to work regularly or on a fill-in basis, fill out the application.  Be sure to indicate the position you are interested in is Vista Childcare.

Hours: 5-10 hours/week
Qualifications:

  • Love God and Children
  • Have an understanding of the Bible
  • Customer service – friendly, compassionate, welcoming, good communication skills
  • Calm under pressure
  • Ability to Multi-task
  • Age 16 and older
  • Starting pay is minimum wage

Childcare Staff at San Marcos/Escondido Campus

The San Marcos/Escondido paid Childcare Team is hiring. We have regular hours available on Thursday mornings, as well as other evening events. The Childcare team makes it possible for parents to attend The Well (our women’s Bible study) and other church classes and events.

If you’ve got some extra time in your schedule and would like to pick up some paid childcare shifts fill out the application. Be sure to indicate position you are interested in is San Marcos/Escondido Childcare.

Hours: 5-10 hours/week

The Carlsbad Childcare Team is hiring. This position would work Wednesday mornings, as well as other evening events throughout the year. The Childcare team makes it possible for parents to attend women’s ministries and other church classes and events.

If you’ve got some extra time in your schedule and would like to pick up some paid childcare shifts fill out the application. Be sure to indicate the position you are interested in is Carlsbad Childcare.

Hours: Flexible, 3-10 hours/week

Children’s Pastor at Temecula Campus

Disciple the children of our church through a program that engages them with a dynamic atmosphere, provides Biblical content so they can deeper their walk with Jesus, and helps them build community with other students and mentor adults.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a full schedule of volunteers for weekend services
  • Sunday Services
  • Summer Camp
  • Assist in leading and facilitating family events
  • Campus Staff participation in all church events
  • Assist Campus Pastor by participating in overall campus direction

ChMS Support Specialist – Adult Ministries

The ChMS Support Specialist for Adult Ministries wakes up thinking about how to use our Church Management System (ChMS) to make Adult Ministries more efficient and effective. They work closely with the ChMS Director and Adult Ministries Directors at all campuses to leverage the database to help our Adult Ministries succeed at developing disciples in a healthy church environment.

Hours: 20 hours/week
Duties and Resposibilities:

  • Meet regularly with Adult Ministry leaders and understand their ministry dynamic, needs, and goals.
  • Work with ministry leaders to create and maintain ChMS-related SOPs.
  • Manage and troubleshoot Adult Ministry attendance and activity tracking.
  • Support Adult Ministry event registration.
  • Work with the Safety Ministry and Campus Volunteer Teams to train staff on the ChMS-related aspects of the 5-part safety system.
  • Create and report key performance indicators for Adult Ministries and Volunteer Teams to help the ChMS Admin and Church Leadership Team monitor ministry health and success.
  • Occasional travel to North Coast Church Campuses in Southern California for troubleshooting and/or training.
  • Troubleshoot with North Coast Church staff (how to use Arena, best practices for data entry, assistance when problems arise etc.).
  • Conduct Basic and Advanced user training both in-person and virtually, with individuals and small groups of 2-10 people.
  • Engage in occasional correspondence via email or phone with congregation members.

Junior High Pastor at Temecula Campus

Technical Web Administrator

support the Webmaster, Web Team, and Communications Team with regards to website updates, HTML designed email creation, digital communication, and social media. This position provides a critical support role that ensures ministries can happen effectively, providing technical and friendly customer support to all the ministries of North Coast Church.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support webmaster in maintaining North Coast Church websites
  • Work with ministries to create event registrations through the church Database and provide technical support
  • Working with graphics department to coordinate digital graphics needs
  • Create and manage congregational emails, HTML email campaigns and campus specific emails
