23 - With God, Don’t Be Terrified; Just Be Afraid
There is a classic line from the Chronicles of Narnia where Susan asks Mr. Beaver if Aslan, the King of the Woods, is safe. “Safe?” Mr. Beaver replies, “Who said anything about being safe? Of course he isn’t safe. But he is good. He is the King, I tell you.” Today’s passage gives us a clear look at how we can have both a loving God who wants to bless us and yet who isn’t safe and needs to be feared.
