Are you ready? They are already in our classrooms and nurseries. They are the kids of Millennials. They are digital masters, the NEW “old fashion,” creative entrepreneurs, activists in their homes, and beyond-stereotypes. There will be two billion of them worldwide by 2025. They are the Alpha Generation. What does this mean for us in Children’s Ministry? In this fast-paced session, we will take a quick “fly-by” of each of the generational cohorts from Builders to Alpha to learn what defines them. Then we will take an in-depth look at what the experts are saying about Generation Alpha and learn what we can do to meet their needs in our ministries. You will leave this session equipped with the knowledge and practical ideas on how to minister to the kids and partner with the parents of this newest generation. ​​

About the speaker:​ Steve Nichols has over twenty years of experience working with kids and teens. As a former youth pastor, current high school teacher, and resident expert on all things culture, Steve uses his expertise and experience to equip staff and teachers to effectively engage today’s kids.
