Counseling Corner: Welcome to Growing Up in an Alcoholic Family

Campus:  Vista

Adults, Classes, Life Skills

Presented by Vicki Switzer, M.F.T.

Guessing at what “Normal” Is or Doubting  You’re “Good Enough”?

This class will focus on growing up in an alcoholic family system. We will cover topics of identifying the real problem, the characteristics that are common in alcoholic systems and how it impacts you as an adult, and the healing process with tools to help you recover.

If you have questions on something that is happening to you or to a loved one, attend the meetings and ask the counselor. While we will be presenting the larger picture on diagnoses, specific questions may be answered. These meetings will not give specific advice on treatment nor medications, rather the meetings will provide a direction to pursue along with resources for support.

WHEN:  Sunday, April 2, 11am
WHERE: Vista Campus, Learning Center 2 Room
2405 North Santa Fe Ave, Vista
COST: FREE!

RSVP to let us know you plan to attend.

Questions can be sent to Stacie at sseltmann@northcoastchurch.com.
