Nicky Cloyes
Nicky is one of our original Carlsbad Campus members and has helped in the Welcome Center and Bookstore. A few years ago God began prompting Nicky along a path to service on the mission field. That journey has clearly led to her serving God through Operation Mobilization's Ship ministry. Nicky is now one of our North Coast Carlsbad Missionaries, serving in South Carolina as the OM Ships Mission Teams Coordinator.
Nicky helps church groups, individuals, Pastors, Ministry workers, and supporters visit the ship for 1-2 weeks for an opportunity to serve on the ship, experience, and participate in the ship ministry hands on. About the Ministry
The vision of Operation Mobilization's International Ship ministry is, "To Bring Knowledge, Help, and Hope to the World". OM's ministry ship, The Logos Hope, travels the world to ports where the nationals do not have access to educational and gospel literature. At the ports nationals come aboard (by the tens of thousands) to purchase literature at minimal cost, hear the gospel, and meet one on one with crew members. The crew also goes ashore for humanitarian aid, discipleship training, church planting, and street evangelism.
Operation Mobilization was founded over 50 years ago and the evidence of its fruitful works and God's amazing provision to the ministry demonstrate God's involvement in this ministry.
As the Short Term Mission Coordinator, Nicky hopes to introduce individuals, growth groups, youth groups, and others to mission service and in particular the exciting and fruitful work of Operation Mobilization.
