Jim Bouck has served here at North Coast Church as our Pastor with Single Adults since February 2007.  Jim gave his heart to Christ as a child in New York State and has followed Him throughout his life. He met his wife, Ann at Biola College, they were married in 1975. They have ministered with single adults much of their lives since 1981. Jim received his Bachelors degree from Biola University, a Masters of Divinity from Talbot Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from Western Seminary (Portland). During his ministry career, Jim has also served as a Senior Pastor and Missions pastor. Jim's wanderlust and mission involvement has taken him to 50 countries. He has also led over 40 short-term mission trips. One interesting experience for Jim was his Ararat (Turkey) climb in 1975, in search of Noah's Ark.

On a personal note, Jim and Ann’s near divorce early on in their marriage sensitized them to the pain and challenges many singles face and motivated them towards a life of ministry to single adults. Jim points out that over 50% of America’s adults are unmarried yet most churches refer to themselves as a “family church” and neglect the specific needs of single adults. Jim and Ann are working to make North Coast Church a special place that values and serves single adults. Ann is a Nurse Practitioner by profession. They have two sons and one grandson. Their older son, Jim Jr. and wife Breanne, live in Dallas. He is a pilot with American Eagle Airlines. Their younger son, Josh, is a fireman with Los Angeles County Fire Dept. He lives in Oceanside and attends North Coast Church.

Pam Clark, licensed MFT (Marriage and Family Therapist) is the single mom of three grown sons. She's been on the North Coast Church Counseling Staff for over 15 years, and is also the Single Adult Ministry Women's Director. Pam has a passion to support and encourage others in their growth and healing, and to assist them in developing communication, problem solving, coping and relational skills.

In addition to heading up the Single Women’s Ministry, Pam oversees and often teaches our monthly Sunday Singles Seminars as well as assisting our Single Parent Ministry. She brings her life experience of having grown up both in the U.S. and abroad to her understanding and compassion for people from different cultures and backgrounds. Along with her work here at North Coast Church, Pam also ministers and teaches Christian counseling concepts at churches and at the Africa Mission Bible College in Nyamata, Bugesera, Rwanda.

Pam was previously on the Faculty of USC for 13 years before moving the San Diego area. In her spare time she loves to walk, swim, sing, garden, be with her family, spend time with friends and travel.
