Back in the book of Exodus the nation of Israel, “God’s Chosen People,” find themselves in a great time in their history where God was physically leading them and doing many amazing miracles right before their very eyes. However, let’s take a look at a passage in Exodus, chapter eighteen, that gives us a peak behind the scenes, and see what degree of spiritual health they really had.

 A religious crowd doesn’t make a church.

 Just being around God doesn’t make you healthy.

Three purposes of the original Growth Groups:

1) To understand God’s Word.

2) To apply it to your life.

3) To actually do it.
