Anti-science. Anti-choice. Judgmental. Homophobic. That’s how people often view the Church. They see us as backward-thinking. Why would they want to be like us?
Though they’re largely mistaken, that perception repels people from the truth of Jesus. To make matters worse, many of us aren’t equipped to respond in a persuasive, yet gracious manner. So we don’t feel confident to engage people in conversation about our convictions.
I’m a missionary…to Christians. I teach believers how to more effectively reach others with the truth of Jesus. My focus is on how to clearly articulate our Christian convictions. Because the Christian worldview touches on many practical aspects of life, I also teach how to respond to challenging topics like abortion, evolution, Islam, and homosexuality in a compelling and winsome manner.
When believers are better equipped to maneuver in conversation, they’re more confident to share their faith. They know what to say and how to say it so they eliminate barriers to the Gospel.
