What is the Big Goal in FROG 5?

We want to create a fun and accepting environment in which we acquaint you...5th grade kids, with Bible stories, share with you the gift of salvation through Christ, and urge YOU to wholeheartedly seek, love and serve HIM!

Where and When Do We Meet?

We meet for worship, games and Bible study on the Melrose campus in the FROG 5 room on at 5:40 PM on Saturdays, and Sundays at 9:00 AM, 10:50 AM & 6:00 PM 

Summer Camp

Each summer we go to an awesome camp called "Adventure Mountain" for the purpose of bringing kids closer to Christ, closer to each other, and closer to our awesome leaders. Camp is seven days in July and we come back pumped up for the rest of the year!

What do we Study?

  • Key people and events from the NEW TESTAMENT in chronological order.
  • The names and main ideas of the NEW TESTAMENT books.
  • The needs of people locally and worldwide, and how we can reach out to them.

Events and Activites

We have all kinds of events and activities for 5th graders through out the year.  Watch for Pizza & Game Night, Park Day, Paintball Day, Christmas Party, Daughter's Date Night with Dad, Mother / Son Padre Game, and much, much more!!!!  Check our Activity page for upcoming events.

Service Opportunities

Our FRIENDLY FROG PROGRAM is an opportunity for students to serve in 5th grade.  If you are ready to give a little more of yourself to F.R.O.G 5 by helping during the weekends with new kids and doing small jobs around the classroom, ask us about the Friendly FROG program during the weekend services.

 

 

Note to Parents

We encourage you to sit and visit our class anytime!  We also have a rotating staff of volunteers for each service who serve "two weeks on/two weeks off," so if you are interested, we would love to have you be a part of our team!  Contact Jessica at (760) 724-6700 x132 or email for more info.
