What is North Coast U?
North Coast U is a ministry of North Coast Church which offers short-term, non-accredited classes and seminars. But more than that, North Coast U provides an opportunity to 'connect' with others at North Coast Church in a place where you can discuss and better understand biblical truths and see how they are valuable in everyday life. In a similar way to how Jesus and the Apostles taught people in their day, North Coast U is a competent leader covering a relevant, challenging topic to help you learn and grow closer to God.

When will the courses meet?
We are offer four, four-week sessions - one in the spring, two in the summer and one in the fall. September through May, the classes meet on Sunday and/or Monday so they don't conflict with most of our Growth Groups. During the summer, they meet on Sunday, Monday and/or Thursday nights. Our goal is to design NCU in such a way that you can attend your Growth Group and still be able to take one of these classes.

Where does the tuition money go?
Your tuition money helps cover the cost of materials, refreshments, set-up and honorariums instructors.

Are there textbooks and homework?
This varies depending on the class and the instructor. Some classes use a required text and most require some outside homework. However, we've asked our presenters to keep homework to 1-2 hours per week. We always list the homework and reading requirements on our class information sheets (you can pick these up at our North Coast U booth), so you will know what's required before you sign up. Textbooks can be purchased when you sign-up for your classes.

How do I sign up?
You can sign-up in the church office, online or at our North Coast U booth outside before and after services on all of our campuses.  Check our Register page for signup periods.

Do you offer childcare?
Childcare will not be provided during this session.
