For the week of March 14, 2010
New Property Update — We’re on the last stretch before we make the move to the N. Santa Fe Property. But the last two week’s we’ve turned away nearly 30 cars at Melrose campus. Please consider riding the shuttle. See bottom of homework for more updates.
Things to Remember:
- Winter Quarter ends March 19. (Your last meeting will be the week of March 14.)
- Spring Quarter is April 4-June 4
- Spring Sign-up Weekends: March 20-21 & 27-28

Announcements
- FINALIZE PLANS FOR SPRING QUARTER— If you haven’t contacted us yet please contact us ASAP to finalize your groups rosters. Spring sign-ups that this weekend (March 20/21). We are not having sign-ups on campuses on Easter weekend. Spring quarter is April 4- June 4.
- RIDE THE SHUTTLE—The last two weekends our parking lot was completely full and many cars turned away. Please go over the Property Prayer Update on the back of this week’s homework.
- WOMEN’S RETREAT — March 26-28. Join us for a weekend away at Murrieta Hot Springs-- insightful teaching, outstanding worship, spiritual renewal, a great time with God, and con- nection with friends, old and new. Our speakers include Jeanne Bessant (Member Care), Susan Trueblood (Life Skills Ministry), and Pastor Chris Brown! $175 or $210. Fill-up a room special $165. Sign-up online or at weekend services.

PRAYER AND COMMUNION
After sharing (and/or) studying, move into your time of prayer and Communion.
- Explain that we want to end the quarter by celebrating Christ and His death and resurrection by taking communion
- You can comment, ask for responses or read the verses below noticing what comes to mind to be thankful because of Christ. (Colossians 1:21-23) After reading the verses, give people a moment to reflect on the verses
- Explain how you’re going to do communion and read Luke 22:14-27. Pass the bread, thank the Lord for it, and eat together. Pass the cup, thank the Lord for it, and drink together.
IDEAS: You may want to involve others by asking them to read scripture and lead these prayers. You can also incorporate worship in this if you would like. The bread and juice can also be set on table in middle of the room and people take communion after you read the scripture and pray, or while the group sings or listens to a worship song. - Prayer - Move into prayer time, thanking Jesus for his examples of love and how he has worked in the lives the people based on the what was shared and read throughout the evening.

Please discuss with your members whether they plan to continue in your group for the Spring Quarter, then let us know when you do your attendance this week. - Confirm "Changes" or "No Changes" in your Group for Next Quarter.
If you have not done so yet, please confirm your roster for next quarter (no change, adds, drops, max increase/decrease, etc.) via the comment box in your online attendance. If there will be no changes or any foreseeable changes to the details to of your group, please indicate that as well. - Leader/Host Recommendations:
